Wolfram Lohr Leather Accessories

Recording a wallet being made in the workshop of Wolfram Lohr. Wolfram, born in Germany came to England in 1996 to become a shoemaker. In 2004 Wolfram opened a workshop combined with a shop in Brighton.

This enabled customers to develop new and bespoke products with help and expertise.

Wolfram says, “All of our products are made in our workshop in Hove. We hand-pick the hides from leather merchants in Germany and England. The bulk of the leather comes from Italy and is mostly vegetable tanned. When choosing leather for products, we do so on the basis of quality; we consider the life of the leather and how it will age. Then we colour-match threads and linings to create contrasting and classic colour schemes.”
